Description

Join us on Thursday February 16 @ 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM EST for the launch of our newest project on Prompt Engineering to be hosted in the first two weeks of April 2023.

This collaborative project will introduce participants to emerging and state-of-the-art Prompt Engineering methodologies and techniques. Prompt engineering is an Natural Language Processing (NLP) concept of using “carefully crafted phrases or templates” to construct a model input text to help pre-trained language models accomplish a downstream task (i.e. question answering, text classification, name entity extraction, text summarization, etc.). The field is rapidly expanding given recent research demonstrating emergent capabilities, applications, and techniques of large language models and their generalizability to many tasks.

This project involves conducting knowledge transfer and exploring emerging techniques in large language models (LLM’s), specifically prompt engineering, and potentially extended to identify applications for organizational use cases. The project aims to equip participants with the knowledge and capabilities to leverage large language models without requiring the intense resources needed to fine-tune such models.

By signing up to this project, participants will learn how to:

  • Obtain in-depth knowledge of prompting and prompt engineering.
  • Experiment with prompting for real-world applications.
  • Obtain hands-on experience with extremely large language models (LMs).
