Arash is an Applied Machine Learning Scientist at the Vector Institute. Before joining Vector, he was a Software Engineer at Google from 2013 - 2023. Arash received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Alberta. He is interested in model evaluation and benchmarking, multimodal and representation learning, and AI safety.
