Steve joined Unilever in February 2019 as the Chief Enterprise Technology Officer and is currently leading our Global Digital & Technology function, which drives Unilever's digital strategy, enhances consumer and customer connectivity, improves operational efficiencies and leverages advanced AI capabilities to unlock significant value globally.
Some of his achievements include one of the world’s largest corporate cloud migrations, as well as significant digital transformation of Unilever’s end-to-end value chain. By leveraging 1,500 core enterprise applications globally, his team is unlocking significant value through scaled AI capabilities.
Steve’s extensive experience in IT and business services, gained from roles at General Electric, Pepsico, Diageo, Vodafone, and AstraZeneca, equips him to manage and innovate within Unilever’s technological landscape.
The Crown Commercial Service named Steve as a Non-Executive Director in September 2020, where he leads the Technology and Digital Transformation agenda. He is also a board member of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Born in New Jersey, Steve studied Mathematics – Systems Analysis at Penn State University, where he met his wife. They moved to London with their three sons in 2009. Steve is an avid sports fan, enjoys skiing, and spending time with his family
