Nitish Srivastava is the CTO and co-founder of Vayu Robotics, where he works on physical intelligence for mobile robots. With a focus on creating safe, scalable and economically viable robotic solutions, he is passionate about advancing real-world applications of autonomy.

Before founding Vayu Robotics, Nitish worked at Apple on various robotics projects, gaining extensive experience in developing cutting-edge systems. Prior to that, he founded a company specializing in perception for autonomous vehicles, which was acquired by Apple.

Nitish completed his PhD in 2016 at the University of Toronto working with Geoffrey Hinton and Ruslan Salakhutdinov, where his research laid the groundwork for his career in robotics and machine learning.
