Emily Napier is a data scientist at Beatdapp, where she leads a team of data scientists and analysts who detect and report fraud in the music industry. Emily started working with Beatdapp as a machine learning intern at the Vector Institute's Fastlane program, where she developed forecasting and anomaly detection models for the company. She recently defended her Masters of Computer Science thesis at Dalhousie University, which focused on sequence modelling and analysis of motion-capture and dance data. Emily is deeply interested in continuing to work at the intersection of machine learning and creative applications.
