Akeem Afuwape (Ph.D.) is currently a Data scientist at PwC's AI & Analytics practice. He has experience working with a variety of industries, including utilities, mining and energy; leveraging his strong technical skills, and ability to communicate complex data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders to help drive business growth and maximize positive outcomes. Akeem has a strong background in both data science and engineering, having completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in Smart Building Analytics at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) focused on applying data-driven methods to optimize building performance and energy efficiency.
