The Vector Institute would like to invite you to accelerate your career in AI through our FastLane initiative. Join us on Nov 7 at 11am EST to learn more.
 
FastLane Applied Projects is a 4-month paid immersive program that offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in expediting their AI adoption. 

  • Be part of a select cohort of ML Associates and join a structured AI–centric learning program to acquire technical skills and tools and deliver business value
  • Discover whether AI is the right tool for an SME and deliver a proof of concept to address their use case
  • Increase your employability by getting unique access to Vector’s technical expertise and best practices 
  • Engage with like-minded individuals in a collaborative setting and expand your network within the AI ecosystem

When does the project start?

We are seeking individuals or teams willing to participate in our pilot project that will be launched in January 2023. The interviewing, matchmaking and onboarding process will occur between the end of November and mid-December.

Who should apply?

  • You are a student or recent graduate of a Vector’s recognized AI-related program (graduate degree preferably)
  • You have skills and experience developing, refining and deploying machine learning models in Python
  • You have the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • You’re eager to contribute to the Canadian AI ecosystem

Compensation

$25/hour. This program allows you to join at a full-time (36.25 hours per week) or part-time (20 hours per week) capacity.
