James completed his PhD at the University of Toronto this year and is now a research scientist in the Toronto AI Lab at NVIDIA. In the past, his research has explored data-efficient learning, optimization, and deep learning theory. His interests remain varied, with active efforts in improving and understanding data requirements for deep learning systems and developing generative models for 3D data.
